A rare, beautiful vintage octagonal porcelain bowl by Wedgwood, decorated in a striking stippled powder-blue ground with a continuous hand-finished frieze of white and soft blue snowdrops.                                                                                                                      The interior rim features a matching delicate snowdrop garland below a classical gilt geometric border. The exterior rim is accented with a gilded laurel leaf band.                       A lovely piece of classic English pottery, perfect as a small fruit bowl, table centrepiece, or collector's display piece.                                                                                                        Produced during the celebrated Daisy Makeig-Jones era at Wedgwood, this elegant ordinary lustre line showcases the refined naturalistic work of her studio mentor and chief designer, James Hodgkiss.
