This stunning antique Victorian Wedgwood Jasperware biscuit barrel is a classic 19th-century British ceramic piece in highly collectible, deep cobalt royal blue matte stoneware. Jar features hand-applied white bas-relief overlays depicting neoclassical Greek motifs. The matching beautiful ceramic lid is crowned with a robust acorn finial and stylized oak leaf and acorn relief.

Age: pre-1891 (impressed lone "WEDGWOOD" mark and the absence of post-1891 country indicators)

Condition: very good antique condition; no repairs; some tiny imperfections. While the unglazed interior is clean and pristine, the exterior figures show faint, stable kiln-firing shrinkage lines, and a minor pre-firing factory mold nick beneath the inner lid rim, which do not impact the structural integrity or display beauty of the piece.
