This stunning biscuit barrel from the renowned Crown Devon pottery. Produced by S. Fielding & Co. in Stoke-on-Trent between 1913 and 1930, this piece (Pattern No. 2254) features the signature 'Blushware' finish—a delicate cream-to-peach vellum glaze. It is beautifully decorated with hand-painted purple pansies and lush green ferns, complemented by its original silver-plated (EPNS) lid and handle. A quintessential example of early 20th-century decorative earthenware, perfect for collectors of fine Staffordshire pottery.
Maker: S. Fielding & Co. (Stoke-on-Trent, England).
Age: Circa 1912–1930 (Early 20th Century/Art Deco era).
Materials: Earthenware ceramic with silver or nickel-plated metal lid and handle.
