This authentic antique fine bone china sugar or slop bowl was produced in the iconic Empire Shape, this piece features an exceptionally light, and dainty fluted body with a delicate scalloped edge. It is beautifully decorated inside and out with the vibrant "Trailing Daisies" pattern, pairing bright orange and yellow daisies with delicate green ivy leaves.                                                                                                                                                    The base bears the official crown backstamp along with dual late-Victorian British design registration marks: Rd 208329 (1893 fluted shape) and Rd 272002 (early 1896 floral pattern).

Maker: Wileman & Co (The Foley China), Staffordshire, historical predecessor to the celebrated Shelley brand.

Age: 1896

Dimensions: diameter 10cm/3.7”, height 5.5cm/2.2”, weight 75gr

Condition: good antique condition, no cracks or chips, authentic iron spotting inside the bowl and age-related wear to the gold gilt edge.
