Vintage Hammered Silver Plated Creamer/ Milk jug, marked SM & Co

This elegant cream jug bears the prestigious mark of S. Mordan & Co Ltd, a firm renowned for their high-quality English craftsmanship. The piece features a beautifully executed planished (hammered) surface and a classic sparrow-beak spout. A wonderful example of early 20th-century hollowware that serves as both a functional creamer and a collector's piece.

Maker: S. Mordan & Co Ltd (Sampson Mordan & Co), London

Age: Circa 1900–1930s. The company became "Ltd" in 1898, this specific "hammered" Arts & Crafts style was most prominent in the early 20th century.

Measurements: 15.5cm/ 6.1” wide, 8.5cm/3.3” tall, 6cm/2.4” base diameter, 37cm/14.6” girth of the middle (widest part) of creamer, weight  220gr

There is some wear inside, and a few scratches consistent with age.
