Antique 19th Century Chinese Imari Butterfly Export Plate

An antique porcelain plate featuring a central medallion with butterflies and flowers, decorated in underglaze blue, iron-red, and gilt. The central design features a vibrant arrangement of butterflies among floral sprigs, surrounded by a dense foliate border. The mark on the back of the plate is a "Double Circle" containing a four-character mark, which is characteristic of Chinese porcelain.
Maker: Made in Jingdezhen, China, for the European export market
Age: late 19th or Early 20th Century, Guangxu period, 1875-1908
Diameter: 22cm/8.6", weight 543gr
Condition: no repairs; kiln pinholes on base (authentic)
