A captivating late Victorian or Edwardian era preserve jar blending fluid Art Nouveau artistry with heavy, traditional glasswork. The clear glass pot features deep, faceted vertical panel cuts on a star-shaped flayed base with an intricate sunburst underside.        Removable, non-hinged dome lid richly embellished with asymmetric scrolls, organic foliage, and an embossed flower head integrated into the carrying handle.                Perfect for jams, mustards, or as an elegant dressing table vanity jar.

Maker: unmarked, likely German/French

Age: circa 1895–1910

Dimensions: height 10cm/3.9”, width 8cm/3.1”, base diameter 7cm/2.7”, weight approx. 310 gr

Condition: very good condition, an authentic wear on top of the dome lid consistent with age (please view all photos)
