Denby pottery pair of blue jugs pots

A classic pair of vintage English stoneware salt and pepper pots from the renowned Denby Pottery. They feature the instantly recognizable "Imperial Blue" pattern with a deep, vibrant cobalt blue glaze and are squat and round in shape, standing on three small feet. They likely feature a "S" and "P" mark on the top or side to distinguish between salt and pepper. The orange, oval mark is the standard factory base stamp used by Denby Pottery of England.
Maker: Denby Pottery (Denby, Derbyshire, England)
Age: The "Imperial Blue" line was launched by Denby in 1989 and continues to be a popular pattern. These items with this style of mark were produced from the launch period into the mid-2000s.
Measurements: 11cm/4.3" tall, one jug slightly bigger than the other, middle part approximate girth 27.5cm/10.8", other jug girth 28,5cm/11.2" diameter, weight 695gr
