Large Vintage Italian Ceramic Serving Platter – 16" Beautiful Gooseberry Botanical Oval Tray

A vintage Italian ceramic serving platter featuring a botanical transfer-print design of red and green gooseberries in blue and white porcelain bowls. Crafted with a heavy earthenware build and a scalloped edge, this oval tray is finished with a hand-painted blue rim and features an authentic maker's stamp on the reverse.                                             Ideal as a farmhouse kitchen wall display or a rustic table accent.

Maker: Ceramica due Torri, Italy  (stamped Per Alimenti / Made in Italy on base).

Age: circa 1970s–1980s

Dimensions:  40.5cm/15.9” x 28cm/11”, weight 1530 gr

Condition: good vintage condition, features fine surface hairline cracks to the glaze and several glaze chips along the blue painted rim that have been repainted before, (please see photos).
