A fine delicate pair of miniature late 19th-century Japanese Kutani porcelain cabinet vases. These miniature vessels feature hand-painted in a vibrant iron-red palette floral designs with intricate gold gilt highlights, these 7cm cabinet pieces feature traditional floral panels. Perfectly sized for a collector's display or as delicate accents in a classic interior.
Maker: Unmarked Kutani workshop, Japan, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan
Age: late 19th Century (around 1890)
Dimensions: 7cm/2.8” tall, girth 21,5cm/8.5”
Condition: one of vases have a crack in glaze inside in the middle, but from outside not visible (likely manufacturing fault), some minor age-related paint wear to the rims, consistent with their 100+ year history.
