Pair of Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Ginger Jars - Blue Bird and Plum Blossom, with wooden stands

A matched pair of vintage mirrored lidded ginger jars. This "bird and flower" design features delicate blue birds in flight amidst blooming pink and white plum blossoms. The intricate brass wirework creates a background of shimmering "cloud" scrolls against a deep black enamel ground.

Maker: unmarked, likely mid-century Beijing (Jingtailan) export.

Age: circa 1960s–1970s

Measurements: height approximately 16.5cm/6.5”, girth 26.5cm/10.4”, weight 815gr for both jars with stands

Condition: very good, no broken off pieces, only wear on surface
