A beautiful vintage Copeland Spode rectangular sandwich tray features the iconic, deeply detailed "Tower" pattern blue and white transferware scene. Depicts a classic pastoral landscape with an ancient bridge, towering castle ruins, and a flowing river, the central artwork is framed by a rich floral border and a classic moulded gadroon wavy edge. Two ornate integrated side handles, this premium ironstone piece functions for serving afternoon tea or showcasing on a traditional kitchen dresser.

Collector's note: this authentic piece is crafted from heavy, historic English ironstone, features the traditional moulded twin-handle form and the coveted vintage underglaze blue backstamp, making it a genuine piece for the classic British transferware collector.
Condition: very good vintage condition with bright, crisp blue transfer details and excellent structural integrity. Minor glaze wear on the outer corner rims and a tiny factory kiln spot (as shown in macro photo), which do not affect the stability or beauty of the piece.
