Vintage Fenix Raku Ceramic Cheetah Figurine – Signed South African Studio Pottery Leopard Cub

Handmade Raku ceramic miniature wild cat figurine features a beautiful warm honey-gold glaze with the deep, smoky crackle lines characteristic of traditional Raku firings. The cub is intricately detailed with hand-incised black accents framing charcoal-grey spots and retains its original studio marking and artist initials on the base.                                    A striking, tactile display piece for bohemian, modern, or wild animal inspired interiors.

Maker: Studio Fenix Pottery (Cape Town, South Africa). Hand-signed on the raw base with artist initials "DA DO ST" alongside the original "Handmade in South Africa" studio label.

Age: circa 1980s-1990s

Dimensions: height 5.5cm/2.2”, length 11cm/4.3”, width 4.5cm/1.8”, weight 175 gr

Condition: very good, the lower edge of the front-right paw features a small original glaze skip/firing indentation from the kiln process, which is painted over
