An elegant mid-century Wedgwood black basalt teapot features a minimalist, low-slung silhouette beautifully balanced by a geometric D-shaped handle and an elegant conical lid. The exterior boasts a smooth, unglazed matte black finish, while the interior is fully glazed in high-gloss black for practical use.

Condition: excellent vintage condition externally: no chips, cracks, or repairs, only very minor storage scuffs consistent with age. Note: The glossy interior base has a prominent area of surface scraping (pictured); this does not affect the watertight seal.
